The STX Fortress 700 women's 10 degree lacrosse head is newly designed for the elite defender. This ideal face shape features a narrow pinch for ball retention and a wide scoop for catching. The reduced sidewall height offers a deeper pocket without sacrificing strength. STX included the Speed Scoop, a Pro favorite which allows for smooth, easy ground ball pickups from any angle. It definitely gives you an advantage on ground balls. This head comes strung, by STX, with Crux Mesh Pro. Mesh is now legal in the women's game and this will provide you with additional ball control and a defined sweet spot. The mesh features Weather Weave, which is a waterproof coating construction. STX also included Strike Plates which are strategically placed on the shoulders of the lacrosse head for increased power on stick checks. The C-Channel technology reinforces the sidewalls for strength and stability. This head has 10 Degree technology and can only be used on a 10 Degree shaft.
