In their final non-conference game of the 2017 college lacrosse season, the Cornell Big Red men’s lacrosse team hosted the Lehigh Mountain Hawks at the famed Schoellkopf Field in Ithaca, NY. With both teams lead by young talent, the offense was on full display from the first whistle, especially from Cornell freshmen Jeff Teat and Connor Fletcher. Behind eight points on four goals and four assists from Teat and a hat trick from Fletcher, the Big Red of Cornell cruised to a 16-11 victory over the Mountain Hawks. The combined point total of the freshman duo from the game moved them into sole possession of the rookie scoring record, passing Cornell lacrosse legend Rob Pannell and Roy Lang. Andrew Pettit led the way for Lehigh as he recorded five point in the loss. Check out highlights from all the games action and catch up on all the stats from across Division One with lax.com!
