In a rivalry that is 115 years in the making and arguably the biggest in all of college lacrosse, the University of Maryland lacrosse team hosted the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays in the game know as "The Rivalry" at Capital One Field in College Park, MD. In front of a record setting crown of over 14,500, the Terrapins looked to secure the Big Ten lacrosse regular season crown while the Blue Jays looked to secure a spot in the Big Ten playoffs. From start to finish, the game was all Terrapins, as senior Matt Rambo set the all time scoring record for a Maryland lacrosse player, tallying seven points en route to Maryland's 12-5 win. The senior attack man broke the record of 231 held by Bob Boneillo, 37 years ago. Maryland also got hat tricks from senior Colin Heacock and junior Connor Kelly.
