Looking to capture their 600th win in program history as well as remain undefeated on the season, the tenth ranked Rutgers University Scarlet Knights men’s lacrosse team hosted the nineteenth ranked Brown University Bears at High Point Solutions Stadium in Piscataway, NJ. Heading into the game, Brown featured the nations top scoring offense, averaging 21 goals per game, while the Scarlet Knights looked to continue an impressive eleven game home winning streak. Played in frigid and windy conditions, Brown raced out to an early lead, leading by a score of 6-3 halfway through the second quarter. However, Rutgers would battle back, led by freshman Kieran Mullins, who scored three times within the final minutes of the game to give Rutgers the 13-11 win. Mullins would finish the contest with a game high four goals. Stephen Hudak and Dylan Molloy each scored three times for Brown. Rutgers will look to continue its winning ways when next hosts the top twenty ranked Stony Brook Seawolves while Brown will look to rebound when it welcomes the Villanova Wildcats to Providence.
