In a big time Division three lacrosse showdown in one of its most respected conferences, the NESCAC, the Connecticut College men's lacrosse team hosted the top ranked Bates Bobcats in new London, CT. With the Bobcats entering the game with a perfect record on the season, Bates also looked to lock up home field advantage through the NESCAC playoffs with a win. For the Camels, a victory would ensure a spot in the playoffs and a move above .500 on the season. The game started off with the Camels jumping out to an early lead, eventually finding themselves up by four halfway through the second quarter by a score of 8-4. The Bobcats would cut the lead to 8-6 at halftime but still found themselves trailing by three in the third. It was then when the Bobcats would take over, using a 5-0 run to jump out to a lead they would never reliquish, resulting in a 16-14 win. The win would be the 12th on the season for Bates, their highest in program history. Senior captain Charlie Fay led the way for Bates, tallying five goals in the game.
