Held at the University at Albany, the HEADstrong Foundation’s Nick Colleluori Men’s Lacrosse Albany Classic was a four-team tournament that included the host Great Danes, Johns Hopkins, Vermont and Army. The games will be played to benefit the HEADstrong Foundation, which was founded by former Hofstra athlete Nick Cellulori, who passed away in 2006 after a 14-month battle with an aggressive form of non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, HEADstrong works to assist and empower those affected by cancer while also raising awareness and funding for research.
