The District of Columbia Women's College Lacrosse team, also known as the "Firebirds," represents the University of District of Columbia in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC). The Firebirds are known for their strong defense and fast-paced offense. The team's mascot is a fierce and regal firebird, symbolizing the passion, power, and spirit of the team. The Firebirds' home field is the UDC Athletic Field, located on the university's campus in the heart of Washington, D.C. With a dedicated coaching staff and a talented roster of student-athletes, the Firebirds continue to strive for excellence both on and off the field.
