In the third game of the day, Princeton and Georgetown pushed each other up and down the field, inspired by particularly athletic midfield play early. The game seemed close, but Princeton began to grow more formidable as the afternoon wore on. The young Tigers showed they had some solid shooters who were not scared to pull the trigger from anywhere, yet they also often made the extra pass or quick look, turning a decent shot into a productive scoring chance.
The event benefited ProjectSpark, "an organization dedicated to supporting Parkinson's education and research." The organization and tournament were founded by Princeton alum Christian Cook, and Davidson Alum Lauren Cook, after their mother Diane was diagnosed with early stage Parkinson's.
