FORT MILL, S.C. -- The Methodist men's lacrosse team outscored Brevard 11-3 in the second half and Kyle Clarkson set a new single-game scoring record in a 16-11 win over the Tornados in a game played at Fort Mill High School on Wednesday evening. Clarkson finished with five goals and five assists for a total of 10 points, breaking the previous record of nine held by Matt Layden. Jake Smerka added four goals and four assists for eight points, and Chris Lombardi tallied four goals with one assist to lead the MU offense.
